Wowjoint ("Wowjoint" or the "Company"), via its subsidiary Beijing Wowjoint Machinery Co, is a leading provider of customized heavy duty lifting and carrying machinery used in such large scale infrastructure projects as railway, highway and bridge construction. Wowjoint is a leader in lifting and carrying equipment in China. Its main products lines include launching gantries, tyre trolleys, special carriers and marine hoists. The founders of Wowjoint were the first one to introduce the Prefabricated Concrete Bridge Erection Technique to China. Since then, Wowjoint's team of experienced engineers and technicians has invented and produced the first 900t launching gantry, first 900t special carrier and first 900t integrated launching carrier both in China and in the world. Wowjoint has participated in some of the most well known bridge erection project in China, such as the Hangzhou Bay bridge, Shanghai Maglev, Beijing-Tianjin Express Passenger Railway, Beijing-Shanghai High Speed Railway, Wuhan-Guangzhou High Speed Railway and so on. Wowjoint is heavily focused on developing new technology and better engineering solutions. The Company's innovative design capabilities have resulted in patent grants and the development of industry-leading proprietary products. Wowjoint currently employs over 200 employees, of whom, 1/3 are highly trained engineers and technicians.
