Panda Remit Receiving Tutorial

WeChat

Panda Remit supports direct transfers to WeChat accounts. The recipient can set up the receiving method (WeChat balance/bound bank card) in advance, so funds will be automatically credited without manual confirmation when they arrive. The steps are straightforward:

  1. Search for “WeRemit” in WeChat, enter the mini-program, click “I want to receive money,” and select mobile number receiving.
  2. Follow the steps: click “Create my payment card - Allow - Select receiving method - Authorize” to complete the setup. If you previously set up bound bank card receiving, you can change to WeChat balance receiving as follows:
  3. Enter the “WeRemit” mini-program, click “Global receiving,” then select mobile number receiving.
  4. Click “My payment card,” then your current receiving method.
  5. Click “Authorize - Balance - Confirm” to complete the change. Note:
  6. The WeChat account must be bound to a bank card; otherwise, it cannot receive money.
  7. WeChat receiving requires manual confirmation only for the first time. Subsequent transfers will be automatically credited.

Alipay

Panda Remit also supports direct transfers to Alipay accounts. The recipient can set up the receiving method (Alipay balance/bound bank card) in advance.

  1. Search for “Quick Receipt” in Alipay, enter the mini-program, and click “Activate receiving method - Agree.”
  2. Choose the receiving method, you can activate “Alipay account balance receiving” and “Bank card receiving.”
  3. Adjust the receiving order according to your preference, prioritizing receiving to the balance or bank card.

Alternatively, you can manually receive the funds when they arrive. After the transfer, if you receive an [Alipay] reminder SMS or if you do not receive an SMS but the order status in the Panda Remit app changes to [Bank processed], the transfer has arrived in Alipay, and you need to manually receive it:

  1. Click the receipt link to open Alipay.
  2. Click to select the receiving method and agree to the terms.
  3. Choose balance/bank card receiving to complete the receipt. Note: After completing the manual receipt process, Alipay will display [Receipt in process], and the bank card will generally receive the transfer amount within 3-5 minutes. If you cannot receive the funds normally or if the receipt fails, you can contact Panda Remit’s customer service for assistance.
